Callestick Farm is a family-run business making “Champion Cornish Ice Cream”. Their extensive ‘flavours’ do indeed include many that are award-winning. No doubt some people may be prepared to accept the intensive dairy industry that underpins ice cream production, but how about illegal cubbing and fox hunting? The Kernow Sabs, Monitors and Animal Rights Team found the Four Burrows Hunt in full pursuit on Callestick Farm land in October 2025 – and this was not ‘trail hunting’ by any definition (but then it very rarely ever is). Was this an unwelcome trespass by the hunt? Callestick Farm have been approached for comment, but the hunt has been seen here before and they were hardly trying to avoid the farm this time around as the HIT report clearly shows…
