While the farm itself is not featured online, it rents out “a wonderful barn conversion” available on numerous websites which is described as “set in stunning Cotswold countryside, in the middle of a small Gloucestershire estate” which apparently “enjoys unbelievable views and complete privacy.” Unless, that is, you happen to be renting on the same day that the owner has allowed the Vale of White Horse Hunt (VWH) to meet on the farm, when all sense of privacy will go out the window. Cotswold Hunt Sabs found the VWH at Calcot in December 2024, and the HIT Report they published is well worth reading! Like us and every other pro-wildlife/anti-hunt individual you will find yourself asking yet again, why do ‘trail hunts’ use terriermen?
