“Traditional in its values but forward thinking in its outlook, Brynkinalt Estate has a wide range of offices set in a beautiful and historic landscape.” We’ve come to be extremely wary when we see that word ‘traditional’ used by a country estate, and with good reason. Brynkinalt doesn’t disappoint (well, they do, but you know what we mean). Under ‘Sporting‘ is one of the most disingenuous paragraphs on shooting we’ve read (and we’ve read a lot of them): “We run a small commercial pheasant shoot based on traditional values with countryside conservation at its core. Parties stay in Brynkinalt Hall, having the chance to enjoy a house party with close friends.” It’s like ‘shooting bingo’ really…A well-informed supporter also tells us that in September 2024 the estate hosted a photoshoot for Rake Magazine – for a feature on the notorious Wynnstay Hunt! We will wait to see if Rake has any true idea of just who they are dealing with…
