“Bryn y Pys – A Traditional Family-Run Estate With a Proud Heritage of Activity and Contribution, Conservation and Respect.” What now? You have to wonder who writes the blurb for these places – or whether they actually read them before they publish them. Anyhow, let’s look at that. Bryn y Pys “residential lets offer some of the most charming and beautifully located homes in North Wales”, but of more interest to us the Estate offers ‘Sporting‘ opportunities in “some of North Wales’s most beautiful countryside” which mainly involves killing birds (which they say means they can protect the land – so if they can’t kill birds they’d dig it up or concrete it over? Respect…) and the Rosselis, owners of the Estate, support the local Wynnstay Hunt and (we are told) often host them on their land: the Wynnstay are one of the least respectful or respected hunts in England and Wales…
