Bowcombe on the Isle of Wight is (apparently) “one of the premier private shooting estates in the UK”. Situated on Bowcombe Estate, Bowcombe Lodge is built entirely around shooting birds: “The Lodge offers an exclusive venue for parties attending the shoot at Bowcombe.” It gets better: “Set in over 2000 acres of stunning countryside and presenting birds of the highest quality” (unlike the poor quality birds intensively farmed and released in other parts of the UK?) a day at Bowcombe is “a very special experience”.
