Ony a business that is part of the shooting industry could be proud to offer everything from shooting pigeons to “formal driven events from 125 bird bags to 400 plus bag days for either 8, 9, 10 or on some of our shoots even a dozen guns” and go on to say “as part of an overall package we also offer rabbit shooting either bolting them over ferrets, ferreting with purse or long nets or lamping at night with rifles”. They also offer corvid shoots on “our open air piggeries and hare shoots”, and go on to claim that all of this slaughter and death is somehow ‘sport’. It is simply organised killing of wildlife in a country that is already hugely nature-depleted, subject to massive habitat loss, and about to be slammed by climate change. It would be naive to think that services like these don’t exist, but still shocking when you realise just how much wildlife they and their complicit and willing clients must be killing…
